More accurate company matching across domains and brands
Saber improved company identity matching for shared domains, sub-brands, foreign domains, and companies with the same name.
Saber improved how company identity is resolved before research and enrichment work begins.
What changed
- Shared domains such as hosting, marketplace, and profile domains are no longer treated as strong evidence that two companies are the same.
- Sub-brands and parent brands are scored directionally instead of being treated as interchangeable.
- Foreign domains are checked more carefully before a well-known company is replaced by an unrelated local or similarly named entity.
- Same-name companies with different domains are protected from cross-attributed signal evidence.
The updated matching behavior applies automatically to company signals, lists, and enrichment. No customer action is required.
