Overview

Company Lists let you save reusable company segments, inspect list metadata, and page through the companies that matched the list filter.

Use lists when a segment needs to survive beyond a single preview request. Lists are the right boundary for review queues, CRM sync, scoring, signal activation, and repeatable agent workflows.

  1. Preview the target segment with company search.
  2. Create a named Company List from the validated filter.
  3. Page through the companies in the list for review or export.
  4. Run company signals or scoring against the list.
  5. Update or delete the list when the underlying targeting changes.

When to use lists

Use a Company List when:

  • The same segment will be used by multiple workflows.
  • Sales or marketing teams need a stable working set.
  • You want to sync companies into a CRM or enrichment table.
  • You need to export or page through more than a preview result.

Use search only when you are testing a filter and do not need durable results yet.

List hygiene

Keep list names specific and workflow-oriented. A name like US fintech Series B hiring sales leaders is easier to audit than new leads.

When filters change materially, prefer creating a new list over mutating an existing production list. That keeps downstream analysis and CRM sync runs easier to reason about.
