Contact Enrichments
Ask structured questions about contacts and receive cited AI answers that support personalization, qualification, and outreach workflows.
Overview
Contact enrichments answer structured research questions about a person, usually from a LinkedIn profile or enriched contact record. Run one with POST /v1/contacts/enrich/custom.
Use contact enrichments when account-level research is not enough. They are best for persona research, outreach personalization, qualification, and understanding a contact's likely priorities.
Running an enrichment
Each call returns an enrichment run: a fresh run returns 202 with a Location: /v1/enrichment-runs/{runId} header to poll, a recent identical request returns the completed run inline as 200, and you can pass a webhookUrl to have the completed run delivered.
Enrichment design
Good contact enrichments focus on evidence that helps a seller decide what to say or whether to prioritize a person:
- Current role and likely responsibilities.
- Relevant career history.
- Topics or initiatives mentioned publicly.
- Fit against a target persona.
- Outreach angle or objection risk.
Avoid asking for broad biographies when the workflow only needs one decision. Structured questions produce cleaner fields for CRM sync and scoring.
Inputs and quality
Contact enrichments work best with a stable profile URL or enriched contact record. If the contact identity is ambiguous, search or enrich the contact first, then run the enrichment against the resolved profile.
